Lower Kindergarten Ages 4 to 5 years
Upper Kindergarten Ages 5 to 6 years
In this program children are exposed to many preschool activities in a safe and supported environment so that the children become confident learners. We prepare them to enter into the primary level of education with holistic skills. In this program language is reinforced through letter-sound relationships, introducing high frequency words, songs and rhymes which drastically improve their communication skills and vocabulary.
The educator focuses on an inquiry based approach to build curiosity and a genuine love for learning.
Our kindergarten programs recognise that children will soon be entering schools that have a range of expectations for a child’s social and academic performance. We recognise the need for directed and sequential instruction to ensure that children enter first grade with the skills and knowledge expected of them in the school that they will attend.
The kindergarten curriculum is adapted to expectations of local IGCSE, CBSE and ICSE schools. Each of the kindergarten learning centers develops expectations and practices in concert with the local schools that the children will be attending. At the same time, the curriculum in every kindergarten homebase builds off the child’s knowledge base and skills, learning style, and interests.
